Recipe - Sandwich Loaf Tin
We aren’t all about brownies, sometimes we like to enjoy our carbs in other ways too… This bread is such an easy and useful loaf to be able to make. There’s nothing quite like the smell of freshly baked bread rising in the oven.
Into a mixing pot,
- add 510g of the flour you’re using (I use @cotswoldflourseed flour)
- two tsp of ready to go yeast
- splash of oil
- 300ml / 300g of warm water (50 degrees if your kettle tells you!)
Mix all together and then knead for 10 mins (I put it in the kitchen aid and leave it mixing for 10 mins)
Leave to rise for 1 hour (timed) in a warm area - in front of fire/I use boiler room. Warm oven to 200 degrees C
Punch dough down, put dough on surface (I don’t flour the surface but you can) then fold the dough a few times and then roll to make into a cylinder. Put into oiled bread tin and leave to rise for 30 mins - or until it’s risen as you like.
Once risen. Cook for 20 mins, or until it’s loose in the pan (watch the clock after 20 mins). Tip out and leave to cool!
Enjoy!
Flour can be substituted in for what you’d like to use!
